Ability in Action
We fundamentally believe that coaching is not just about talking the talk but actually walking the walk. Which is why we are challenging ourselves to undertake some of the world’s greatest physical (and mental) tests.
Starting with the Kokoda Track in October 2018, Rani, Adam and their team of passionate supporters will train their bodies and minds to tackle activities that challenge even the most able-bodied humans.
Kokoda 2018
Trip Summary
Challenge: The Kokoda Track
Location: Papua New Guinea
Length: 143.7 kms
Date: 25th October 2018
Difficulty: Extreme
About the Project
We will start by flying from Sydney to Port Moresby, before boarding a bus the next day to Owens Corner where we’ll start our trek. Over the next nine days, we will walk in the footsteps of Australia’s brave soldiers, navigating the dense jungle, creeks, mud and steep terrain, not to mention snakes, leeches and creepy crawlies! We’ll be supported by a group of porters who will help us make camp every night, but this is not a glamping trip – we know it will be a gruelling physical and mental challenge. But it’s a trip that we cannot wait to make, to prove to the world that no matter your ability, you can do anything if you put your mind to it.
